I do a fair amount of backpacking and am always looking for the best equipment possible to keep me lightweight, comfortable, and dry in the back country. When I used the SB 20 I was honestly skeptical at first. I have used some of the more pricey bags from competitors and I thought they would be hard to beat. I was pleasantly surprised with the SB 20! This bag is phenomenal! Very lightweight, super warm, comfortable, and kept me dry during a humid rain storm in the mountains. I would highly suggest this bag to anyone serious about backpacking and not breaking the bank. For the quality this bag is very well priced!

I bought this sleeping bag after much research for a warm, light & compact bag for a hiking trip near Big Sur, CA. This bag was warm & comfortable plus it compacted down very well. I'm very glad that I made this purchase!

I haven't slept more warmly in the back country! A bag well worth the price. :)

I was a little apprehensive at first about dropping such a large chunk of change on a sleeping bag, but my worries were quickly alleviated once I spent my first night in one while in Rocky Mtn Nat'l Park when the temp dipped down into the mid 30's during shoulder season. I was cozy, comfortable and dry all night thanks to the SB 20. The "waterproof" feature on the head and feet are also very nice features. 10/10

Just returned from Otter Creek Wilderness where the temps dropped to 19. Slept under a tarp on a closed cell mat. Was comfortable throughout the night. My toes started to get cold at daybreak, and I felt a little cold spot on my hip, but compared to the outside temp, I was fine. (I sleep on my side in long underwear and socks btw). Very happy with the quality of this bag at this price. The Western Mountaineering Alpinelite is only 2oz lighter and costs more than double the price. Great Job Kelty! Now make some lighter solo tents! :-)

Can't comment a whole lot as I only used this once so far last weekend in big sur but it's the best bag I've ever had for sure. Warm and toasty, good loft and very comfy, down keeps u warm and packs tight and weighs only 2lbs? Best bang for the buck bag out there right now you can spend almost twice as much on a wm bag and I think this has better features, don't remember what the goose down fill r
