Reviews & Ratings for Kelty SB 35 Sleeping Bag -800 Fill Power DriDown-
— 4 reviews — Page 1
This is a great sleeping bag! I previously had the Kelty Cosmic 20 whcih is also great but over a pound heavier and 550 down. I also own a Marmot plasma 15 which was twice the amount of the Kelty SB35 and this Kelty SB35 is FAR better IMO. Love the dri-down technology, hood and footbaox prevent moisture. Very warm and comfortable. Used in 40f night with only boxers and I was hot! Kelty has hit

This bag came with me to Burning Man this year and I was glad to have it.
Night time temperatures were unseasonably low and there were several nights that dipped into the 20s.
The bag performed excellent in the high 30s and I didn't need any additional layers to stay warm. On the nights where the temp dropped below freezing, I added a layer of thermal underwear and a pair of cotton socks.
With some heavy weight thermals and wool socks this bag could easily be pushed into the low 20s and possibly high teens.
Overall I am impressed by the lightness of the bag, and the great feature set for the cost.

Only took this out once at around 50 degrees night. It performed very well, didn't have to wear socks and was hot inside with a thermal plus liner and 150 thermal pants. Got so hot, took my top off! I was over doing it, wasn't sure if the night will get very cold. Packs small, great for mild winters! So very soft and comfy, like being surrounded by feathers, literally!
