Very lightweight and definitely worth bringing along whether you're backpacking or camping. It has greatly helped maintain the integrity of my tent and is very easy to set up. Through some pretty serious rain, I (and all of my belongings) stayed nice and dry with the footprint successfully providing extra protection.
