Kathy's Review of Klymit CampSaver KSB 20 Down Hybrid Sleeping Bag
This bag is well made, and does have down insulation, but the insulation is only on the top of the bag, and the bottom of the bag is synthetic. Thats a standard way to economize, and the insulation underneath wont compact the way down does-- BUT this is NOT what is described in the product description. You should know before you buy.
Mine is not badly made, is heavy, and the amount of down in the top of the bag seems unlikely to keep me as warm as I would hope. I bought the bag to sleep in in my house, not for backpacking, but I'm fussy about temperature control and wanted a consistent material in the bag insulation, and not synthetic. I will probably return it, assuming the hassle isnt too great.
