Value Down sleeping bag
I took this on a trip to Philmont Scout Ranch last week. 12 days. Temps down in low 40s, and I was never cold. The gathers at the legs take some getting used to. Only com plaintiff was a slight tear at the draft bar which I sewed closed.

Not as advertised -- read carefuly
This bag is well made, and does have down insulation, but the insulation is only on the top of the bag, and the bottom of the bag is synthetic. Thats a standard way to economize, and the insulation underneath wont compact the way down does-- BUT this is NOT what is described in the product descripti...

It’s a winner!
I had already purchased a couple of other bags and wasn’t happy with them. Mostly because I move around in my sleep & I can’t get comfortable in mummy bags. But the KSB 20 works for me! The stretchy material let’s me turn & I can sleep comfortable when out camping or backpacking. And for the price? Amazing! Iits doesn’t pack down as small as a fully down blanket, but for the price & it being hybrid down/synthetic… it works for me! Its not really bulky and the fully down bag by Klymit down pack down that much smaller. And it is lightweight. I loved it so much I bought an extra to have on hand if a family member needs one!
Pros:
- Price
- material and weight
- Quality & features
Cons:
- Zipper can be finicky
Best Used for:
- camping & backpacking

The good down featherbed for its money
The Klymit KSB20° natural duck down sleeping bag is an excellent candidate to be the ultimate camping companion for late fall or early spring hikers.
It works well in light frosts down to -5 degrees Celsius (23 °F). But it can also be useful during sudden frosts - you can sleep in it when it is -10 degrees Celsius (14 °F), without the risk of getting frostbitten.
Extra width in the shoulders makes sleeping in a sleeping bag especially comfortable - you can move it as much as you want, the bag does not constrain your movements.
A clever design will please you with the density of functional solutions, combined in a sleeping bag. Two-way zipper, insulated collar, adjustable hood and elastic leg area - everything works for maximum heat retention.

Klymit KSB 20 Hybrid
I was so excited for my new bag to arrive. It's even more roomy and warmer than I had hoped. My feet were a the slightest bit cool until I adjusted the footbox. So roomy inside and suits me for side sleeping.
Pros:
- Roomy
- Adjustable footbox.
- Hybrid
Cons:
- No water resistance.
- Small personal stash lies across neck.

Cheap, relatively light, first down
This is a great deal for someone’s first down bag. Not fully ultralight, and not made of the super high end down that other bags of made of however it’s fantastic for the price. The neck stretchy baffles inside make it very easy to move around in, more so than bags “designed for side sleepers” that cost twice as much. I’m very happy with the Klymit KSB20
Pros:
- Stretchy Baffles
- compressability
- able to shorten or lengthenz
Cons:
- None

Good value
Nice bag - warm, love the stretch baffles. Don't think I'd be as satisfied if I were to have paid retail price for this though. Wait till it goes on sale.
