My hound is happy and my pad isn’t muddy
My hound insisted on climbing on my pad with me on our backpacking trips and getting it muddy. Now she has her own and I have a travel sized rumpl blanket that serves as her sleeping bag to keep her cozy. Both the pad and the rumpl blanket fit in her wilder dog pack so she can carry them herself! The pad is light and fits back in the storage sack easily. She loves it!

Not for my dog
We have a 57lb pit mix. She is mostly a house dog who sleeps on the couch all day. We took this bed camping with us, and she ended up sleeping between our legs or between our bodies most of the time. It wasn’t the soft couch she’s used to. Size-wise, it would have fit her entire body in her usual curled up sleeping position. Anything bigger wouldn’t have fit in the tent comfortably. It’s a nice bed overall, but my dog is just a bit spoiled.
