Most Helpful Positive Review More comfortable than I expected!
Campsaver's sale on this Klymit pad was hard to resist. I was looking for a shorter, lighter weight pad for summer and this fit the bill. I was surprised how small it packed up to be, perfect for lightening my backpacking weight. The V shaped padding creates a comfortable shape and holds up to my moving around while sleeping, even when on my side. I am 5' 3" and the pad extends from my head to my knees. I like the rectangle shape so that my arms and elbows have more padding underneath. The R-value is 1.3, fine for warmer weather. I have a foldable CCF pad for additional insulation in ca...

Good Little Pad

by Katrina, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on September 11, 2023
I have an adult Klymit pad and I actually kind of like this one better. I got this one for my kid and he loves laying on it even just at home. The inflate and deflate valves are much better than the single twist valve on my other one.
Pros:
  • Small, lightweight, easy to setup and take down
Cons:
  • None
Would recommend: Yes

Kids camp mat.

by Camp mat, from KY, United States Written on June 23, 2023
We tried to use pool floats as sleeping mats for out Kids. It was a disaster and they didn't hold air, were hard to blow up am deflate. These are easy to blow up amd you can tell it will hood air well. Plus it is the perfect size for the kids without taking up too much space in the tent and I love how compact they are to pack!
Pros:
  • Small
Cons:
  • Thin
Best Used for:
  • Kids

Nice budget short pad

by PA Rocky, from PA, United States Written on May 28, 2023
I was looking for a short pad to try out and add some more comfort in place of an accordion CCF pad. I'm 5'10" 175lbs and the pad comes right below my knees. First trip out was in January. Slept on sheet of tyvek, CCF pad, and this pad. Stayed comfortable the majority of the night. Second trip, with relatively same temps, I used the tyvek, ditched the CCF pad, and used this pad. I got chilly halfway through the night, but beyond that, the pad was comfortable. So, obviously, the need to boost the R value with something else is needed at lower temps. Layed it down on the tyvek over some gnarly looking sticks and it lived to tell the tale. My 3rd trip was on a sheet of polycryo, lightweight bivy, this pad, and empty pack under my legs in 50-60 degree weather. Outside of it sliding inside the bivy, I was comfortable and warm. The 2.5 inch height is enough to keep pressure points off the ground. It packs down pretty small and takes up minimal pack space. It's pretty easy to blow up and deflate. It's not the lightest 3/4 pad out there probably due to the 75d polyester that's used. However, it feels like it could take quite a beating. So, you sacrifice a bit of weight for durability. At this price, this pad is a no brainer for a durable and comfortable 3/4 pad in warmer weather.
Pros:
  • Size
  • durabililty
  • Comfort & Support
Cons:
  • Weight
Best Used for:
  • Babkpacking, car camping

Super light and comfy

I’m 5’ tall 115 pounds side sleeper. This is the most comfy sleeping pad you can get for this weight. I bought it to replace my too big self inflating plush pad. This one is nearly as comfy and I can hike with it.
Pros:
  • Very small and light weight
Cons:
  • NONE
Best Used for:
  • Backpacking
  • backpack camping

Cheap for kids

by Tracy, from VA, United States Written on February 3, 2021
Easy to blow up. It’s definitely crinkly. It’s a good cheap mattress for kids backpacking trips. Easy to deflate and roll back up. I only used it in my living room as our trip isn’t until spring but with three kids under 10 - this fits the bill.

Super small and packable lightweight sleeping pad. Got three of them for the kids and they seem pretty basic but reasonably comfortable especially for children. Kids said they felt great. Were also on sale so a great deal. Definitely recommend. Not sure how durable but will put them to the test in the coming weeks
