I bought these poles a couple weeks ago and have used them on one long, uphill hike up Mount San Jacinto in Southern California. It's the second tallest mountain in Southern California, so this was no easy job for the poles. We went through sand, dirt, snow and ice towards the summit (lots of snow) and these poles did great.

The only negative I can think of is that they don't collapse, but I knew that going into it.

I think they're great poles and fully recommend them to others.
