I would give these pants five stars but for two reasons.
1) They run a little tight in the buttocks and thighs.
2) The seams down the center of the backside of the butt have a tendency to wear quickly. No big deal because there is a double or triple fold at the seam and plenty of stitching. Still, the outer seam starts to look pretty ratty after 2-3 four or five day trips backpacking in the granite country.
I do own several pair, so more support than opposition to these pants.
