Almost perfect
This is my second pair of Akasha's. These shoes work very well on technical mountain runs, as well as quick moving single track. The tread stands up well to rough Arizona trails which are littered with sharp edged rocks. I can't speak to how they are in wet conditions but as a desert show they're great. They are slightly heavier than othe trail shoes, but make up for that in robustness, yet still maintain a slim profile. And that is my minor quibble. Great supportive trail shoe
I use more of a minimalist shoe typically, but needed something with great grip in wet conditions and more stability for boulder hopping. These fit the bill quite nicely. My main complaint is that they a bit narrow in the toe box for me, but otherwise fit great.
