A lot to like, if you can get the right size! - La Sportiva Boulder X Approach Shoes - Men's

The Boulder X is very well made with a stiff last and full rubber toe. I looks like it will stand up to a lot of abuse but will have to report more on that later. The sole is sticky, grip seems great. However, I had a very hard time getting the size correct. A 44 euro should be a 10 1/2+. As I am a 10 1/2 -11 in 90% of all shoes I own, I ordered a 44. WAY too small, ordered a 45, which is equivalent to a 12, still too small!
The shoe also has a unique lacing system the encircles the heel area to prevent "heel lift" when walking.
