Reviews & Ratings for La Sportiva Bushido Trail Running Shoe - Mens
— 5 reviews — Page 1
These are my second pair of bushidos. They run pretty narrow so I'm able to wear the men's since they are sized on the European scale. Great traction in all conditions with enough protection on different terrain. I'm mostly on single track dirt with root and rock. Great lateral mobility for feeling the trail. They also don't ride too high on my ankle to cause issue.

I've had the shoes for almost a month now so am still working on breaking them in, but they offer excellent traction and seem to run fairly true to size after converting from European to American sizes. Tread grip is excellent; can't wait to use them out hiking in the southwest. The break-in period was rough on my heels though and gave some pretty good blisters. That can happen with hiking shoes though.

I haven't used these a ton yet, but I've used them for some light backpacking and as an approach shoe for rock climbing. The stiff sole and aggressive tread make loose gravel, rocky terrain and ascending no sweat. They do not however provide a lot of cushion so if that is a consideration I would look elsewhere. I'm looking forward to putting them to the test through water and seeing how they feel and how fast they dry out.
