If mountains were cake, these would be the ideal tool to devour them...
If you have ever imagined what it would be like to be a mountain lion, these shoes will get you there. They have an aggressive outsole that hold their own on both the up hills as well as the big descents while still being amazingly stable. Aggressive lugs, could improve durability
The mutants are a pretty good all around, more aggressive trail runner. The lugs are awesome for traction in mud and snow. The 10mm drop is a little high, in my opinion. The durability is not the best, at least compared to something like the ultra raptor. The toe caps are beginning to peel off while the rest of the shoe is totally fine. I think if the drop was a little lower and the toe was made more durable, this would be the perfect shoe for rough trails.

Like a Glove
These shoes really hold to your feet and have great traction. I wore them for a spartan race and I think that there could not have been a better shoe for that type of thing.

Best trail shoes EVER
I love these shoes. I've already ordered a spare pair and will probably order another soon. They are a bit narrow, but not as narrow as most other La Sportivas. The grip is excellent. The shoes are like an extension of the body.
