Reviews & Ratings for La Sportiva Spire GTX Hiking Shoes - Women's
— 5 reviews — Page 1
This is my second pair of La Sportiva: i was hesitant to buy online, but they fit great. Good arch support for my high arches, sturdy but not too heavy. Constructed so you lean forward a bit, propelling you down the trail. Love the breathable/waterproof feature. Nice wide toe bed with plenty of wiggle room. Got them on sale, glad I did.

Phoenix hiking has lots of loose jagged rocks underfoot, the sole of this shoe is wicked tough, my feet don’t feel a thing. But the shoe is also lightweight and so comfy right out of the box. I love em, and hope Sportiva keeps making them!
Pros:
Rugged sole, light weight
Cons:
NONE
Best Used for:
Hiking & Backpacking

I had previously purchased the LaSportiva high top hiking boots and loved both their light weight and fit on my narrow feet and ankles. So, when I found the same product in hiking shoes, at a very good price, I was thrilled. I took 2 hikes within the first 10 days that I had these shoes and there was no need to break them in — they were great.
My daughter, who is an avid hiker and climber, recommended LaSportiva to me because she inherited my narrow feet and ankles and she has had a great experience with the products, too. So, you have 2 generations of fans in Bend, Oregon!

I am really happy with my new pair of La Sportiva hiking shoes! They are very comfortable and have great style. The fit feels true to size with a snug but not too tight fit. All the materials are really high quality and although I have not had them for very long I think they will hold up well to my active lifestyle.

These shoes have it all. They are very comfortable yet they have great grip to almost any surface. They got me to the top of Havasu Falls Hilltop no problem even though the trail had ice the last 1- 1 1/2 miles coming out. Icy ground requires different wear anyways.
Pros:
comfort and security to your feet.
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
dry, rough, rocky. trails
