Great hiking boots
I've had these boots for about 6 months, hiking on average 4 days/week, usually on wet, muddy, slushy trails, and these boots have held up great. Also use them on multi-day backpacking trips. Prior to buy these boots, I was dealing with achilles tendonitis and the beginnings of plantar fasciitis. I added SOLE insoles to these boots and have not had any foot issues since the first time I wore these boots. The boots are light-weight, flexible, easy to clean, and proven to be waterproof many times over. Also the toe-box is comfortable - never had an issue on the downhills. Most comfortable b...

Best hiking/scrambling/climbing boot of all time
Super Light weight, super comfortable, and climbing rubber! These are the best, so glad they came back after an update, thought they were gone forever. This is my third pair and they really can't be beat. They last for years too, so durability is incredible.
Pros:
- High ankle support, ultra light, standing on a edge, climbing
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Gnarly approach boots/scramblers

Best Trekking Boots Ever!
I have had these guys for 3 years now so I can review them having taken them to many different Treks, specially in Peru. The Santa Cruz Trekk 4 days, Huayhuash Trek 8 days without taking them, reaching 19.000 feet high with no cold feet at all. Super lightweight and super comfortable. No water at all gets into them neither you feel you feet wet because of the sweat. Great great boots. You won't regret.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- comforable
Cons:
- NONE
Best Used for:
- HIKING
- Trekking

Awesome Hiking Boots
The boots run true to size and fit my narrow fit throughout - including the heel. There is no break in period - I put them on and comfortably hiked 4 miles the first day. The lacing allows you to modify the fit on each foot. I would highly recommend them.
Pros:
- Great comfortable fit
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- HIKING
Would recommend: Yes
Walking in the clouds
These boots are amazing, they kept me dry and warm on the hike to Glacier National Park. They overall were very comfortable for the long day hikes and the tread was great on the rocky outcrops and slopes along the trails of the mountains. I had to get a size up because they ran small with big socks.
Pros:
- warm
- Breathability
- Dry
Cons:
- Run small
Best Used for:
- HIKING
- MOUNTAINEERING
Would recommend: Yes
Very nice 3 season boots
As all La Sportiva product , excellent light weight boost . Im using this boost for my day hiking, falls and winter ,very light and stable . Nice color water proof materials and also warm in light snow . I just don’t like the tongue underneath padding is removable, and attach with Velcro.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Tow separate Tongue
Would recommend: Yes
Sizing runs small
Similar to Keen, I have to wear a 9.5 or 42.5 when I normally wear a 9 with most other brands.Good support and comfortable boot. Haven't had the chance to use them in wet conditions, but breaking in well with city use right now.

I am very excited to spend miles and miles in these boots
After about 15 miles on them so far(after about a week and a half) I am very impressed. I used them in snow and in water and the gortext seems very good. They boots fit well and feel good. I look forword to more miles being done in them and I am excited to put them for the test this summer while I hike a lot more things. I have also gone show shoeing in these boots and it worked very well. It has a fairly stiff sole, witch is great for some light moutneering.

Light Weight & heavy duty!
Great light weight boot, but built tough and ready to take on the trail. Very sturdy and comfortable. Excellent Vibram sole, comfy right out of the box. I've only got a few miles on them so far, but they feel like they're going to be great!

A Fine Hiking Boot
I'm a long time hiker and have a closet full of full-grain leather hiking boots.
So my purchase of a "synthetic" boot was against long-standing thoughts.
Got a deal from Campsaver.com and purchased this boot.
Fit is perfect and out of the box I logged 5 miles through NW PA's snow, slush and ice.
I always put in gel insoles and I would recommend this tactic.
Cleaned the boots up and am ready to go again. Yes, I am getting used to the colors; this is a fine boot for general hiking.

ToughStuff
The Synthetic mold is tough as full grain leather. It's sturdy and stiff enough to supprt a trekking pack. the toe box and heel rubber climbs like an approach shoe. Good design and good build makes it the go to boot.
