Love the La Sportiva ultra raptors in general, the GTX model is even better. Support and cushioning are top notch for everyday wear, but even more for hiking on rocky loose terrain here in CO. I prefer hiking sneakers over boots in warm temps and hikes that don't have high pitched inclines or declines. There work great for this environment. These run about 1/2 size smaller than most La Sportiva's for me.
