La Sportiva Wildcat 2.0 GTX Trail Running Shoe - Mens
I'm a huge fan of the wildcat 3.0 so figured I'd give these a try.
The fit and comfort are excellent, just order up a half to full size which is normal for La Sportiva.
I use these for 5.5 mile trail runs over very rocky AZ terrain 3 days a week.
Like the 3.0, the material of this shoe isn't constrictive, but the mesh is surprisingly tough. I've looked down a number of times after girding against a rock to find no hole or tear.
These are also my backpacking shoes.
Will buy more, that's all I can say.

This is my 3rd pair and I will buy them once I hike through these. They are rugged, decently stiff (perfect for my pronation problems) and very comfy. They are also on the narrow side, which works best for me since I'm a female with big feet. The only reason for the 4 star rating is the mesh material, it doesn't last as long as it could, but I'm extremely hard on shoes, I wear them daily and hike many miles in them. As I said, I will keep buying these and just hope they change the design eventually.
