The kit I just received is the worst quality! I’ve owned Lansky Diamond kits, sharpened knives on them for 15 years for myself, family and friends. Have been proud of their unsurpassed quality and precision sets the entire time - until now. Ordered this set and couldn’t be more disappointed in the poor craftsmanship, hone texture difference and condition at arrival. One of the hones wasn’t even glued in, and fell out at opening. See images. The hone levels are wayyyy more aggressive and the fine doesn’t get a sharp, pristine finishing edge due to it NOT being a fine hone. Another hone isn’t square and has an uneven surface. Lansky has changed their product and gone cheap. Happy to share photos if they gave that option. If you are truly into maintaining or sharpening your knives of any kind, DON’T BUY THIS KIT!!!!
