Most Helpful Positive Review Wave Multitool
I recently misplaced my old trusty Wave and so I bought the "new" Wave. I liked to ease of the one handed tools. but miss the ability to flick open the pliers with one hand, maybe it will come with age. Took me a while to figure of how to deploy the lanyard holder, it slides out, using a separate small screw driver bit to push the ring out from its hidden den. But this is my trusty tool, always with me, but be careful at airports!

If I could only have one tool...

This is the one I would pick. The most usable you will ever own. I have used it to work on cars, my wife's jewelry and just about everything else requiring some type of tool. I even used the saw to cut down a Christmas tree once. The quality of the wave is simply beyond compare. 25 year warranty! Life is harder without a Wave. ☺ Campsaver has the BEST service and follow through I've encountered with online buying.

Catch the Wave!

I took the plunge on investing in a more expensive multi-tool, and after much research, bought the Wave from Leatherman on CampSaver. I had been using a cheaper brand, and the difference in terms of material quality and construction are like night and day. This is now my go-to for DIY projects, home maintenance, and beer drinking. The two blades are sizable and great for everyday carry. I also really dig the scissors—incredible, intricate construction to fit those in—which will come in so handy for fly fishing.

purchased as a present

The recipient lost the one he carried. He received 3 different multi tools as gift for replacements , & was not satisfied with any of them. After a little research & reading reviews, I decided to purchase this one. Needless to say, he hasn't taken this one out of his pocket since. He loves it.
