I used this on the Highland Backpacking Trail at Algonquin Park in Ontario, Canada in early-May 2010. The terrain on the trail is rugged (loose, slippery rocks; roots; slippery stone faces) and there are significant elevation changes. I've done the hike both with and without trekking poles: with is definitely better. The Leki poles are fantastic. They're ultra-lightweight, very simple to adju
Great for my back, with five back operations needed something to help take strain off of lower back. Just the thing I needed to hike Picket's Charge at Gettysburg.

It's sold in pairs.
It has good grip and antishock function.
Hybrid lock system works very good.I can change size very quickly.
I think pack size is a little bit longer than similar model of BlackDiamond.
Also stiffness is not so good, especially using longer size when descending the mountain.
If you are not so tall,I recommend other shorter model.

The Corklite is fine, but I am only 5 feet with Asian size hands. I prefer to Luau which is more suitable for me. I would like to exchange a pair of Leki Corklite Trekking Poles (Item Number: LEK0027) into Leki Luau Trekking Poles (Item Number: LEK0028).But if your are tall,no problem for you.
