Light weight, durable, easy to pack

by Gary, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on February 23, 2020
This is the most expensive trekking poles I bought ever. I used it fore several hike. It is really light weight which save your energy. the 4 section construction make it packs pretty short so it could be put inside your pack when you are on transition. the strap could be detached from the pole, whihc is really nice when you do not need it.
Pros:
  • Light weight, durable, easy to pack
Cons:
  • Expensive
Best Used for:
  • Hiking, Trekking, Backpacking, and Mountaineering

Leki poles

I got these for splitboard touring and love how sturdy but lightweight these are. The hand grips extending down the poles is nice too when traversing. I have had problems breaking them down with the sections freeze together, but they'll at least fold in half so I can strap them to my pack for the descent. Also I haven't really figured out how to use their wrist wrap things yet, but at least they're easy to remove.
