Mountain water>Regular water
The Lifestraw Go is my favorite trail hiking/running accesory hands down. I go on trails in the mountains and have had to carry in lots of heavy water in bladders/bottles which can suck the energy from you quite quickly. Using this product I can now throw this in my backpack pocket and fill it as necessary from whatever stream/creek/pond/river/etc. I come across. I don't have to keep it full if I know I will be hitting more water areas later thus reducing the weight to carry. This is also in my pack no matter what as my "just in case stuff happens" option. Filters great but leaks
Bought this for a trip to Mongolia and it works great. Drank from rivers with no tummy issues.
But do note that the bottle does leak. Walking/ horse riding/ spending hours on the bumpy roads in a 4WD means stuff gets bounced about and my day pack ended up wet on a couple of occasions. Might want to buy the filter instead and use it with your regular non-leak water bottle instead!

Great bottle but poor service
I've bought this bottle before and loved it, except they don't sell filters for it so you have to buy a new bottle. This company did not send me a shipping notice or anything after an order confirmation.
