Great quality of materials and design, with box wall baffles, 970 US fill power down and a full length zipper protected by a single baffle. Hard to find anything lighter for same level of comfort and quality of construction. Only con is that fabric does not seem to repel water well (is a light version of Pertex Quantum), and is more expensive than slightly heavier bag.

I needed to write a review because I'm thoroughly impressed with this bag. I've owned Western Mountaineering and Feathered Friends bags so I appreciate quality. Though I've only taken the Lightwave out for one night, the quality seems to be on par with these other top manufacturers. The bag is extremely light and warm. I camped out in the high 30s and was warm with just my long underwear. I could easily take this bag down to the freezing, especially if I used a silk liner. The cut is generous. I'm 5'10"/170 pounds and I have plenty of room in the regular. I appreciate that it has a YKK #5 zipper rather than the skippy #3. I experienced no snagging at all and the having the zipper on top made more sense than having it placed on the side. I'm not sure why other companies don't use this design more often. The stitching is top quality throughout. Perhaps what is most impressive is the weight to warmth ratio. My bag weighs in at 17 ounces and the 900 provides an incredible amount of loft. I've only used it for one night, but if my initial experience is any indication, it's a keeper. It'll probably be my main bag whenever the weather drop below freezing.
