Awesome boot for general mountaineering

The Lowa Cevedale has been my go-to boot for general mountaineering in the Sierra and the Cascades. It also takes crampons for basic mountaineering (dont do a lot of front pointing!). This is my second purchase of the Cevedale. The first one took me to so many climbs and I even used it as a trekking boot to get to base camps and easy acclimatization hikes in the Himalaya. I climbed with it to Kilimanjaro as well.
Pros:
  • Fit, crampon compatible
Cons:
  • Lacing system could be better
Best Used for:
  • General mountaineering, trekking

Nice boot wrong size

Nice boot but I had to send it back. Read reviews and ordered my normal boot size. Unfortunately, it was almost a whole size too big for me. Felt like a sturdy boot and I am sad that I had to send it back.
