Good boot for the buck - Lowa Civetta Extreme Mountaineering Boot - Mens

Ordered these in my regular shoe size (...been lucky doing that with my hiking boots so far) and they did fit with just a light pair of Hiking Socks on but with a Expedition Wool sock over an under sock they got tight real quick so I returned them for one (whole) size larger and everything fits in there as it should...even with Gel insert that put arch support exactly where it needs to be. Was tempted to exchange for a half size larger but I'm glad I went with a whole size.

Haven't had a chance to try them in Cold Temp's yet (...currently 98-102 degrees outside) but reviews that I've read indicate they SHOULD keep my feet warm on Mt. Rainier, McKinley (...sorry Mr. President) and Island Peak in Nepal next season (...and If they don't...I'll let you know about that too).
