I bought these boots as an alternative to renting for an Alpine Skills class in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. They worked great. My feet stayed dry and warm for all 3 days of the course including our summit of Mt. Washington where temps with windchill were down in the -20s. With the right sock fitment and activity, these boots will keep you plenty warm. The liners dried out in my sleeping bag each night. Can't beat the price.
