It is a great hiking shoes

I bought these after researching what would work best for me; ankle support and stiff foot bed. And these delivered out of the box comfort. Belted out a 7 mile hike in the Northwest on the first go and my feet were happy campers! Worth the price!!! Sold on the lace slides over ball bearing mechanism to tighten the front part of the boot

BEST HIKING BOOT

I have hiked in these boots for over 20 years and they are comfortable, strong, durable and attractive. Highly recommended for the serious hiker! Awesome traction on rock climbing, comfortable on long hikes.

LOWA Renegade EVO Ice GTX Performance

This LOWA version of the Renegade model is a very capable boot for winter use. It is warm and comfortable and seems to have good traction on snow and ice. I particularly like the lightweight feel of this boot.
