2nd pair of renegades - fantastic boots - Lowa Renegade GTX Mid Hiking Shoes - Womens

My wife bought her first pair of Renegade GTX Mids three years and over 400 miles ago, but the soles recently began to crack and the waterproofing was compromised. She bought a pair of Vasque boots to replace the Lowas and was not at all impressed - finding these on sale prompted her to get her second pair of Lowas, and she couldn't be happier. It should be noted that her old pair has plenty of service life left in them, and she's keeping them as a backup. She's really pleased with the wide width that allows her to wear orthotic inserts while hiking, and that has enabled us to more than double the distance of our various trips. Doing 50 miles in Yosemite this summer, and these Renegades will no doubt perform admirably - great boots that are worth every penny paid.
