Comfortable hiking shoe

I normally wear a Lowa boot, but wanted to try a lighter weight shoe. This shoe fits me similarly to my boots. They are comfortable to hike in.

I like the shoe - it is really a boot in shoe form which is good. Did a 9 mile hike the first time I wore it and had no problems. It is a little stiff - is there a specific insert you would recommend?
