Perfect Fit

I picked these shoes because other reviewers said they were narrow and I have a very narrow foot that is hard to but for. They were right they are narrow but perfect for my foot. I like them very much as they fit me so well.

Stable and comfortable.

My chronic lower back pain has made finding shoes that are stable, comfortable and provide foot control. The Lowa Tempest are the best shoes I have found that meet my needs. I've bought 3 pair!

Reviews don't lie

Arrived promptly. These shoes look to be well made. The fact that they are just a tad too narrow for the average width foot is what a lot of comments have said. I've only worn them a few times and have yet to hike any distance. I really hope they stretch out just a tad because the socks I've used so far are too light for an extended trek.

Not as nice as earlier versions

I'm on my fourth pair of Tempest Lo.

On the whole, if the last version was an 8 (1 lowest, 10 highest) this version would be a 7; not as nice as the prior version, but still a good shoe.

The pull loops are too small to use for much of anything.

The sole is much thinner so I doubt that these will last as long as the last version.

Style-wise, they have the appearance of a sneaker at the toe, rather than the lace-to-toe approach of the last version.

They were a very good deal at the Camp Saver price (thanks Camp Saver!!), but at retail? Eh.

Not Renegades, but...

Tempest Lo runs a little small, but very tight on foot(comfortable)ennough to be like part of your foot, enabling mobility. Heavier than a running shoe, shows quality construction. I prefer the Renegade boot for comfort and ankle support, but these serve purpose of daily use, at work, etc.

Lowa Tempest! Fast Service!

This shoe looks good in the picture & even better in person. I normally wear a 10 1/2 in Lowa, but had to get
an 11 in the Tempest. I am pleased with the fit & look forward to breaking the shoes in. Great high quality shoes, NOT made in China. This was my first ordering experience from Campsaver and I am very impressed with their service.
