So I've had the Mad Rock Flash 2.0 shoes now for close to 3 weeks and so far I've been disappointed by these shoes in almost every way. First off I found the fit to be a little tight compare to my la sportiva shoes so I and had to bump up a half size. I've climbed with the shoes 5 times in the past 3 weeks, twice outdoors on granite and three times on plastic in the gym, and the shoes are already trashed. The left foot has rubber peeling up off the rand by the toe and my right foot looks like it's been through a cheese grader from jamming it into a crack. Also it feels like some sort of crease is forming next to my big toe in both shoes. I don't have any issues with normal wear and tear and I expected that it would happen a little quicker with these shoe's being a bit cheaper, but the fact that after only 5 times using these shoes their ready to be tossed in the trash is why I'm giving them only 1 star. Don't make the same mistake as me and splurge and get yourself some 5.10s

This is a perfect shoe for someone who is just learning how to climb. True to size.

Fit was good. They seem to grip well and do there thing. I use them at the climbing gym. I took one star away because they turned my feet a little orange at first and some of the color wore off the first time I used them. I believe this is just superficial. Overall I like them.

I'm a 9.5 in street sizing and I ordered a 9.5 sized climbing shoe. I never got to climb in them because it was a tad too big, and I ended up returning the shoe and getting a different one. I would say the sizing runs a bit small. Shoe seemed very solid though, fit very comfortably with a solid heel. Would have been a decent upgrade over the evolv Defys that I started out with.

these shoes were brutally tight when I first put them on, but after climbing in them all day about 5 times, they have stretched out about a full size and fit comfortably(for climbing shoes) now. I love them.

I like the shoes. You get what you paid for. Great for my beginning experience. I'm able to climb 5'10 with these.
my foot size is 9 and I tried different shoes everywhere.
for my 9 i needed a 10.5 or 11 to fit properly.
I got 10.5 and they were a pain in a but for 1st 2 days, BUT since they are leather they streched perfectly. I can walk almost normally in them.
Highly recommend it. Shoe is great. I got yellow and it didnt color my feet in yellow. I heard orange do, so I got yellow.
Probably will get something aggressive next time for bouldering and more complex climbing.
5 stars

I'm very satisfied with these shoes as my first pair. The first time I put them on, they were pretty tight. But after 3 or 4 sessions, they're fitting my feet very well. Rubber is sticky and the heels don't run too high into my ankles. The only downside is that the heel rubber is starting to wear after only a few sessions, but I think that's more due to my poor technique than the shoe it self. All in all, great buy.
Half size down from street shoes when you buy.

The sale price is so low, I could get these cheaper (with discount code) than a resole. Have worn them twice in the gym so far and they work great. I climbed near my top level both on overhanging and on slab.
