Uninspired slipper

I've tried this shoe climbing both indoors and outdoors and felt it really lacking.

First, the leather is very stiff when compared to other slippers (namely the 5.10 Moccasym). Although unlined leather, these shoes don't particularly have a good deal of stretch to them... even after intentionally trying to stretch them out.
