The Shark 2.0 has been my go-to shoe ever since its release. It is a high performer and edges and smears really well. The toe also does well with cracks, if that's your passion. Where it really does well is on steeper climbing with nice edges, like Tahoe, Bishop and Hueco Tanks, but I have climbed on the sandstone of Fountainbleau with equal success.
The break-in period is surprisingly short, and once you have climbing in them a few times, you won't even know you are wearing climbing shoes. I have found that the sizing is very close to what your street shoe would be, as they are designed a bit smaller, so I recommend a half-size down from street. Example: I wear 9 US street shoes and I do an 8.5 US with the Sharks.
If you are looking for an affordable shoe that will not let you down whether you are climbing 5.6 or 5.13, these are the shoes for you!
