Travelclimber's Review of Mammut 9.8 Eternity Classic Dynamic Rope

I have a few ropes, two of which are Mammut. The violet fire pattern is one of the best looking ropes Ive seen. the mammut eternity is an awesome rope. its kinda soft, tough, soft catch, and well made. I trust mammut ropes. All their ropes and slings are great quality. The eternity has an excellent fall rating for a 9.8mm.
Pros:
  • DURABILITY
  • Fall rating
Cons:
  • Not as supple as the elderid ropes.
Best Used for:
  • sport climbing
  • Trad climbing
