These are the flagship hardshell pant from Mammut.
Part of the fabric is flexible to allow more movement; the velcro waistband is more compatible with the harness than the usual waistband; the adjustable leg width avoids unnecessary cuts with rocks.
The straps are too long and have very little adjustability.The zip head is too large, which makes it easier to operate with gloves, but it makes the zip a bit stiff.
