The mammut Nordwand Pro Hs pants might be the best pant from Mummut for alping clibing, trekking or hiking. I do not climbl, but use it for hiking in the tough conditions, such as deep winter. it works so good. Totally waterproof, the side zipper is great for ventilation. The buckles on the bottom hem can fix the pants on boots, so I do not need an extra gaiter. Good price from Campsaver as well.
