These shoes are pretty good, sturdy ankle support, goretex bodies, toe bed roomy, not a bad shoe. I Usually use Mammut ropes , and this is my first time using theyre shoes. i have not yey been dissapointed, however a few spots have frayed stitching, though not serious, after 5+ days of hiking offtrail. this only cosmetic and does not in any way effect the performance of the shoes. The 2 loops on the back ankles are a nice touch, to attach them to a harness or rucksack.
