Been looking for pants like this
I freaking love these things. First off, I am only 5' 9" so I needed the "short" length size. They are perfect and not too bunchy at the boot.
The material is stretchy, breathable, and I've already worn them skiing. I prefer to wear multiple thinner layers rather than have one heavy/insulated one.
The pockets are in a perfect place for harness/mountaineering/ice days. There is extra protection on the knees and around the boots to prevent scraping / poking holes. I love these pants. They are pricey, but worth the extra imo.
