I’m 6’ 2” and ordered this pant in a 32 long for backcountry skiing. Based on other Mammut garments I own, I expected the quality build but was surprised by the odd fit. Their stuff usually fits my slender frame better than most. The length was good, but the waist was way too big, and cinching up the Velcro adjustment tabs put big folds in the back of the waistband and gave me a Kim Kardashian swell at the hips. The rise is weirdly short, too. Fashionable in some circles, maybe, but not the most practical for keeping snow out. There are snaps on the hems to snug them around your boots, but they leave the lower leg too ballooned for my taste. I’d prefer a zippered gusset instead. The fuzzy lining seems warm and cozy, no doubt very nice on the lift, but creates more friction than I’d like for skinning. Sending them back unused. If the fit works for you, though, these could be a nice pant for the resort.

Already thinking about next seasons snowshoeing adventures, I snatched up these pants. Quality and fit is excellent. I'm sure I'll have them for many years. Mammut makes quality clothing. Thigh vents are so important when your breaking a sweat out on the trail. Velcro waist straps negates the need for a belt.
Pros:
Built tough, stylish, true fit
Cons:
NONE
Best Used for:
Skiing, snowshoeing, hiking

Nice pants and nice fit. Not very thick pants.
Just wait and see if it is warm enough on the slopes.
The material is nice and light weight and they are insulated the perfect amount to keep me warm and dry.
