I'm 6' 5", 225 lbs, and normally wear 36 x 36 jeans. I've always had a hard time finding ski pants long enough for me. I was pretty happy with the pair of Patagonia Snowshot pants (w/ 34" inseam) I had lengthened, but wanted to try something a bit less baggy that was long enough out of the box. So I bought a pair of Stoneys in 36 Long according to the size guide. Unfortunately, they were too tight through the hips and upper thighs, so I exchanged them for a pair of 38 Longs. The fit of the 38s was spot-on with just a bit of extra room to move. I really like the quality of the pants and the pocket placement, but I didn't like the microfleece liner material. Compared to all the other ski pants I've worn that use a slick nylon or polyester lining, these don't slide over my thermals as freely. The material hangs up and binds on my merino & poly long underwear, restricting movement. I flirted with the idea of keeping these and wearing slick-surface compression tights under them since I liked all other apspects of the pants so much, but the grabby liner material was a dealbreaker for me. I sent them back.
If you ski in warmer conditions without an insulating layer, or if you routinely use compression tights, these will probably work very well for you.
