Most Helpful Positive Review As Warm as You'd Expect
I haven't used this for polar expedition, but have loved it on very cold days even for routine use. This jacket is too warm for me if I'm active and it's above 0 deg. F. Size large is generous. I wear 46 regular and this fits with room to spare. I've used it below -30 F. with moderate activity (hiking with pack) and it's a bit warm. For hanging around camp before bed it's most awesome. It

Very Warm!

Wearing this parka, I was sweating at 5F...and I wasn't even moving. This is a great jacket for really cold conditions. It's really big and is meant to fit over multiple layers which it did. The only minor detail I would add is thumb loops to the sleeves and then it would be perfect. I also got a huge discount from Campsaver that makes it all the more sweeter!

Best Parka

I love this parka, after reading thousands of reviews, I chose it over the others, there were several reviews of Himalayan (North face) saying that there was no much feathers on the arms. Even at full price I would it buy it.

Fantastic parka! I have a Mountain Hardwear Absolute Zero and, during a great sale at Campsaver, I purchased the Marmot 8000m for my son and I can honestly say it appears to be on par with the MH in every way. This is my third purchase from Campsaver and all have gone off without a hitch.
