Like any Marmot jacket, this one is extremely well made. It is water-resistant and, with 650-fill down, very warm. But what distinguishes it from many jackets, is that while you could wear it on an outdoor adventure, it is just at home on a night out on the town. As to sizing, like other Marmot jackets, the large is really large. I'm 5'10, 165 lb., with an athletic build, and often wear large,
