Great features and tight arms

Well constructed coat with awesome features and a nearly great fit. Unfortunately, it’s very tight in the armpits which made it unwearable for my wife. If you’re shopping this as an outlet item, you may want to keep that in mind.

Good Travel coat

Just got this and so far, I love the versatility of this Marmot Featherless Component Jacket. I enjoy both cross-country and downhill skiing. This jacket will accommodate both, and be great for traveling. Excellent quality workmanship on ALL my Marmot jackets. I might have liked a two-way zipper for a little more room in my stride, but then I am replacing my former coat because the 2 way zipper failed. (Not sure how I feel about this just yet.)
Pros:
  • Wide range of uses, good quality
Cons:
  • Might like a 2way zipper (?)
Best Used for:
  • Multi day/multi activity trips
