Marmot does it again! the coat is well made with high loft. Packs down to about the size of a nerf football with its own stuff sack. Great for throwing in the pack for early morning/evenings in camp. I bought the large and I am 6 ft and 160 lbs. and the coat allows for a layer or two underneath. Great price on this site!
Marmot makes great products for a reasonable price. This jacket is perfect for ultra-light backpacking. It folds up into a pocket and weighs little over 1 pound. The material on the outside of the jacket feels more durable than others I looked at.
I use this for walking the dog, sitting around camp, tooling around, etc. It's really warm but just a little off in the sizing. I've never really had a problem with a large from any of the major gear brands, maybe just some odd t shirts here or there. Even in other Marmot gear, which is funny.
The Marmot Angel Wing motion is less than average for another brand, certainly not good for a Marmot

This is simply a great all around cold weather jacket! Excellent for skiing. I alternate it with 3 other down jackets that I have (these are my favorite type jacket) because they are LIGHT WEIGHT & WARM. The colors & materials are not ordinary, they are expensive looking, especially in the sun! My father got one too. He got the blue. Me, the green. They are NICE jackets!

I have the similar jacket from Patagonia and have tried on the Mountain Hardware Jacket also. Both the Pat and the MH fit much better than this jacket. It is high quality and a bit longer in the back than the others but it doesn't contour well to a slim body type. I bought the M and the S may have fit better but the other two brands look and fit much better.
