There is less down insulation in the sleeves which makes the arms cooler in cold weather. I find the non-detachable hood annoying especially when driving. Otherwise this is a very well designed jacket. It has great sleeves and pockets. I love the magnetic closure of zipper flap and pockets. It is a good looking jacket.
