There is less down insulation in the sleeves which makes the arms cooler in cold weather. I find the non-detachable hood annoying especially when driving. I like this jacket

This jacket is fantastic. I like it alot. Its so warm and waterproof. The second I got home I put it on and hopped in my shower. I turned the water on and I was not soaked. It also keeps me very warm. Its a win.
