Versatile and warm, but not hardy

This jacket has stuck with me through alpine ascents and long walks to the car. The insulation has held up over the years as has the water-resistance, but this is not a tough jacket. It's constantly getting caught and torn on rocks and tree branches.
Pros:
  • Versatile
  • Packable
  • warm and breathable for active use
Cons:
  • fragile outer layer easily tear
Best Used for:
  • Backpacking
  • hiking and adventuring

Great multipurpose jacket

Got this for my skiing daughter. Light, comfortable, warm, and highly breathable. Light weight enough for a cold & rainy (Californian) school day yet also great for the slopes.
