Listen to an "old guy"
I have to admit that I'm surprised! This jacket does what it's advertised to do...at least for me. Let me describe myself: 64 year old male, 150 lbs. Pretty good shape: I walk 2.6 miles every day in my neighborhood in about 45 minutes, with a heart rate around 120 - 130. It's been cold where I live, below 0 one morning this week, and windy! Today we had a heat wave, up to 25 by the time I took off for my walk. My new favorite jacket
I still have to put some miles into this product but so far this thing is the perfect jacket. Great for layering and the ideal jacket for cold spring/summer PNW mornings.

Sitting inside in a cold winter Chicago day, this hoody was not as warm as a light weight fleece. Might work well outside being more active, but Polartec says warm, either way.
