Reviews & Ratings for Marmot Hyperlight Down Jacket - Men's

Made in Vietnam. Not all down. The shoulders, upper back / front, and and neck are synthetic insulation. The arms and mid to bottom are down. Not as light as pure down jackets, but it's OK. The XXL jacket weighs about a pound. Light shell material seems OK for a lightweight jacket. Elastic wrists. This jacket does not have a zipper, it has snaps. The snaps hold tight but the fabric is not that sturdy to pull on constantly getting the snaps off. Other reviews have said the fabric around the snaps rips off. I believe it and I am careful unsnapping the snaps. No tears yet, but I wonder how long before I forget to be extra mindful of the fragile snap material. The jacket is OK for warmth.
Pros:
light and warm
Cons:
Fragile snap material
Best Used for:
cool weather
Would recommend: Yes
