not completely as expected
I expected the TPE laminate to be be lining the entire bag making it a little more water resistant. Keeping things from getting wet was part of the reason for me buying a roll-top bag. This will keep things dry in a light rain but not if you are walking around in a downpour.

marmot phase backpack
I purchased the marmot phase backpack in cobalt blue/black. The item was delivered in time as promised and wrapped properly to ensure that there would be no problems with the backpack while in delivery. Everything was in perfect condition when i unwrapped it. Im very satisfied with this product, and the fact that i got it onsale makes it even better. I've been using this backpack daily for school. Its excellent for long commutes on transit and has enough support for when i run with it on too. Although the bag doesn't look that big in size, its actually quite large (it exceeded my expectations size wise) and can fit my 15" laptop and other necessities (I would say its larger than the average backpack by a bit). I would recommend this product to anyone who has long commutes or is in need of a simply styled sturdy backpack for everyday purposes.
